  • Come learn about the matches that are held on the upper bays.
  • This will be an interactive class that will cover the following:
    • Match types at GSA
    • Range protocols during the matches
    • Scoring breakdown for the different matches
    • Strategies for each type of match
    • Practical experience on sample stages
  • What you will need to attend this class:
    • A range bag to carry your gear
    • Handgun: a safely functioning center fire handgun of 9mm to .45ACP. Revolvers are welcome but please no magnum cartridges.
    • Ammunition: you’ll need 100 rounds for this class. No projectiles with steel in them will be allowed. Steel cased ammo is fine.
    • Holsters: your holster will need to cover your trigger guard completely. If you do not have a holster that is ok. You’ll need to keep your pistol bagged when you are not on the stage. We’ll help you with this.
    • Magazines: you’ll need at least 2 magazines, 3-4 would be preferable
    • Eye and Ear protection; will need to be worn at all times.
    • Clothing: a hat is recommended. A shirt that can be tucked in is preferable and low cut, v-neck shirts are discouraged. Open toed shoes and sandals are not permitted for this class.
    • Other than ammo you don’t need to buy anything for this class. Just bring what you have and we’ll help you with recommendations for gear.
