June 2025 – On The Range Newsletter
GSA Members head to Cameo Shooting Complex
Four members of the Gunnison Sportsman’s Association traveled to the Cameo shooting and education facility to shoot their long range rifles.
- Roger Johnson
- Ted Hart
- Curtis Lupton
- Jim Morris
All four of the GSA members received certificates of achievement awards for hitting 1000 yard targets.
The members had to deal with 12 to 15 mph winds which made the farther targets a much more difficult challenge. All shooters agreed practicing in the wind is essential.
If you have not been to the Cameo Shooting Complex on the east side of Grand Junction it is definitely worth visiting if you find yourself in the area.
